Wales
I am the ancient walls of stone. I watch along the walls in all directions. My gaze will always be upon them.
This castle men have built from years past, where kings and princes have been crowned.
Beneath my walls I have fought the Celts, the Saxons, the Romans, and the Vikings, and still I fly across my land.
Across the River Seiont I sail above the green covered hills.
I swoop and glide above the salty sea, along my coasts, above Gwydyr Forest, and against the face of the wintry mounts.
I listen to a few who still call to one another in the language of old.
I rest with wings outstretched on a field of green and white, but I will always proudly fly above my lovely land.
I am the Dragon of Wales.
